E.ON was formed in June 2000 as a result of the merger of VEBA and VIAG, two of Germany’s largest industrial groups. E.ON AG is the group’s Düsseldorf-based Corporate Centre. With approcimately 81,000 employees around the world, E.ON is the world’s largest investor-owned energy service providers. E.ON is a company with leading positions in its core businesses, electricity and gas.
