Analysts expect over 2020 rising revenue E.ON, huge dividend

Tomorrow the German company E.ON will publish its past quarters results. For this year E.ON's revenue will be around 65,71 billion euros. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is quite more than 2018's revenue of 41 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net profit of 1,68 billion euros. According to most of the analysts the company will have a profit per share for this book year of 64 cent. So the price/earnings-ratio equals 14,33.

Huge dividend E.ON

Per share the analysts are expecting a dividend of 0,47 cents per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 5,13 percent. The average dividend yield of the energy companies is a relatively high 15,23 percent.

Latest estimates around 9 euros

The most recent recommendations for the energy company are from RBC Capital Markets, UBS and Deutsche Bank.

Based on the current number of outstanding shares E.ON's market capitalization 19,88 billion euros. The E.ON stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last May the stock is 1 percent higher. This year the stock price moved between 8 and 12 euro. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 59 percent higher.
