Ter Beke is a Belgian food group specializing in the development, production and sale of fresh ready meals and processed meats. In 1948 Frans Coopman established a small processed meats factory in Waarschoot, which expanded into a international fresh food group, known for its high-quality products and customer focus. Ter Beke Fresh Food Group (Ter Beke) is the leading Belgium based food group, specialized in the manufacturing and selling of both fresh ready-meals and processed meat for both discounting and retailing all over the European countries. The company has been headquartered at East Flemish municipality Waarschoot (in the district Beke) and was founded back in the year of 1948. Initially, there was a smaller factory named as ‘French Coopman’, which was among one of the small charcuterie factories situated in Waarschoot at that time, and afterwards due to its high quality and customer satisfaction criteria, the company has become popular to a much larger extent that it is now known as one of the leading globally available fresh food industries.
The company has an overall strength of around 1750 number of employees, having 2 meats and fresh ready meals and ten factories all over, 8 of them located in only the Netherlands and Belgium. Overall, the countries account for 1100 work places and having marketing regions of mainly in ten of the countries Europe.

All the food is being sold out with the brand names of Daniel Coopman, Oligusto, Pluma and l’Ardennaise and approximately 1100 number of employees are working in this division of the company.
Three main specified regions within Belgium are Wommelgem, Waarschoot and Herstal, four centers to slice and package the processed food are located at Wommelgem and Veurne (in Belgium) and other 2 at Wijchen and Ridderkerk (in Netherlands). Ready Meals Division is the second segmentation of the company, responsible for controlling the production of ready-meals and having 2 of the manufacturing factories located at Wanze and Marche-en-Famenne in Belgium.
Casa and Vamos are two brands used for the distributing purposes employing a count of 650 numbers of employees. The production mainly includes sauces, pasta, pizza, lasang and many more, being a collaborative effort between pasta Food Company and Ter Beke.
