Tomorrow the French company Carrefour will publish its past quarter results. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 76,9 billion euros (consensus estimates). This is slightly lower than 2017's revenue of 84,92 billion euros.
The analysts expect for 2018 a net profit of 742 million euros. For this year the majority of the analysts, consulted by press agency Thomson Reuters, expects a profit per share of 96 cent. The PE-ratio therefore is 18,54.
Per share the analysts anticipate on a dividend of 0,47 cents per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 2,64 percent. The average dividend yield of the food & drug retailers is a moderate 1 percent.
Based on the current number of shares Carrefour's market capitalization equals 13,58 billion euros. The Carrefour stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last February the stock is 3 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 13 and 19 euro. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 23 percent lower.
