Analysts think Philips is fairly priced

For this year Philips 's revenue will be around 18,25 billion euros. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is slightly more than 2017's revenue of 17,78 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2018 a net profit of 1,46 billion euros. For this year the majority of the analysts, consulted by press agency Thomson Reuters, expects a profit per share of 1,56 euros. So the price/earnings-ratio equals 24,62.

For this year the analysts expect a dividend of 0,78 cents per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 2,03 percent. The average dividend yield of the electronics companies equals a relatively high 2 percent.

Credit Suisse , Sanford C. Bernstein & Co and UBS recently provided recommendations for the stock.

Philips 's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 35,43 billion euros. The Philips stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last October the stock is 10 percent higher. This year the stock price moved between 29 and 40 euro. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 95 percent higher.

At 11.08 the stock trades 1,11 percent lower at 38,41 euros.
