Accenture acquires supply chain logistics firm Blue Horseshoe

  • Accenture (NYSE:ACN) is acquiring supply chain management and strategy consulting firm Blue Horseshoe for undisclosed terms.
  • Blue Horseshoe's team of 349 employees will join Accenture 's (ACN) Supply Chain & Operations group, expanding the ability to help clients create intelligent, interconnected supply chains.
  • 'To be competitive, companies need to transform their supply chains to deliver the innovative and hyper-personalized products, services and experiences that are in high demand-and fulfillment is core to that transformation," says Renato Scaff, Accenture 's Supply Chain & Operations North America lead. 'Blue Horseshoe's deep fulfillment consulting experience and methodologies support Accenture 's vision for building customer-centric, resilient and responsible supply chains that benefit people, society and the planet."

    For this year Accenture 's (located in Dublin) revenue will be around 50.53 billion USD. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is rather significant more than 2021's revenue of 44.33 billion USD.

    The analysts expect for 2021 a net profit of 5.69 billion USD. For this year the consensus of Accenture 's result per share is a profit of 8.81 USD. So the price/earnings-ratio equals 36.71.

    For this year the analysts expect a dividend of 3.53 USD per share. The dividend yield is then 1.09 percent. The average dividend yield of the IT-companies is a good 2.71 percent.
