On Monday Johnson Matthey will publish its past quarter's results. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 3,8 billion GBp (consensus estimates). This is rather significant lower than 2016's revenue of 12,03 billion GBp.
The analysts expect for 2017 a net profit of 403 million GBp. The majority of the analysts expects for this year a profit per share of 209 GBp. The price/earnings-ratio is then 14,33.
For this year most of the analysts expect a dividend of 80 GBp per share. Johnson Matthey's dividend yield thus equals 2,67 percent. The average dividend yield of the chemical companies equals a poor 1,00 percent.
