Analysts expect over 2020 decreasing revenue Southwest Airlines

For this year Southwest Airlines's revenue will be around 9,25 billion USD. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is hugely lower than 2019's revenue of 22,43 billion USD.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net loss of 3,87 billion USD. The majority of the analysts expects for this year a loss per share of 6,69 USD. The PE-ratio therefore is -5,93.

Despite the expected loss the company will probably pay a dividend. Analysts expect a dividend of 0,32 cents per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 0,81 percent. The average dividend yield of the airline companies is a moderate 0,38 percent.

Southwest Airlines's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 21,93 billion USD. The Southwest Airlines stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last October the stock is 25 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 22 and 59 dollar.
