Analysts expect sales decline Harley-Davidson

Tomorrow the American Harley-Davidson will report its past quarters results. For this year Harley-Davidson's revenue will be around 14,58 billion USD. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is hugely lower than 2019's revenue of 22,41 billion USD.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net loss of 32 million USD. Most of the analysts anticipate on a loss per share of 5 cent. The price/earnings-ratio therefore equals -261,6.

Despite the expected loss the company will probably pay a dividend. For this year the analysts expect a dividend of 0,34 cents per share. Harley-Davidson's dividend yield thus equals 2,6 percent. The average dividend yield of the automobile companies equals a low 0,41 percent.

Based on the current number of outstanding shares Harley-Davidson's market capitalization 11,39 billion USD. The Harley-Davidson stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last July the stock is 38 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 4 and 25 dollar.
