Analysts count on sales decrease Abbott

Tomorrow the American Abbott will report its past quarters results. For this year Abbott's revenue will be around 31,54 billion USD. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is slightly lower than 2019's revenue of 31,9 billion USD.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net profit of 5,03 billion USD. According to most of the analysts the company will have a profit per share for this book year of 2,87 USD. Based on this the price/earnings-ratio is 33,04.

For this year the analysts expect a dividend of 1,45 USD per share. The dividend yield is then 1,53 percent. The average dividend yield of the pharmaceutical companies is a moderate 0,21 percent.

Abbott's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 166,47 billion USD. The Abbott stock was the past 12 months quite unstable. Since last July the stock is 16 percent higher. This year the stock price moved between 62 and 100 dollar.
