Analysts expect sales decline KPN, quite high dividend

Tomorrow the Dutch KPN will publish its past quarters figures. For this year KPN's revenue will be around 5,35 billion euros. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is slightly lower than 2018's revenue of 5,7 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net profit of 487 million euros. According to most of the analysts the company will have a profit per share for this book year of 12 cent. So the price/earnings-ratio equals 16,5.

Huge dividend KPN

Per share the analysts expect a dividend of 0,13 cents per share. The dividend yield is then 6,57 percent. The average dividend yield of the telecommunications companies equals an attractive4,46 percent.

The most recent recommendations for the telecommunications company are from Morgan Stanley, Barclays and Jefferies & Co..

Based on the current number of shares KPN's market capitalization equals 8,3 billion euros. The KPN stock was the past 12 months quite unstable. Since last April the stock is 24 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 2 and 3 euro. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 68 percent higher.
