Based on the recent analyst estimates EDP now has one of the highest dividend returns of the Portugese stock exchange.

The average of the dividends estimates is at 0,19 cents. The dividend yield consequently equals 6,64 percent. The average dividend yield of the energy company equals 2,6 percent.

For this year the consensus of the revenue equals 15,22 million euros. This is slightly lower than the revenue over 2015 of 15,52 billion euros.

Historical revenues and results EDP plus taxations 2016

The analysts expect for 2016 a net profit of 923 million euros. For this year most of the analysts expect a profit per share of 26 cents. Based on this the price/earnings-ratio equals 11.

Based on the number of outstanding shares EDP 's market capitalization is around 10,38 billion euros.

At 12.52 the stock traded at 1,3 percent lower at 2,86 euros.
