Lotus Bakeries is a well-known manufacturer and distributor of cakes and biscuits along with the production and marketing of ginger bread, waffles, galettes and other pastry specialties and services. The foundation of the company was laid down in the year of 1932 by Matthieu Boone, when Boone family had started it as a baked caramelized biscuits firm and delivers them on their own. Today, the company is known as a renowned bakery for selling of sweet snack(s) in the retailing industry, cafes, hotels, restaurants and air-lines all over the world. The main head office of the company is present in Belgium but the presence is on an international level with the manufacturing facilities in the regions of the Netherlands, Sweden, and France along with owning or selling of establishments in 9 in US, Canada and other Europe’s regions, having an export facility for other ones. FounJan Boone, grandson of the founder of the company had taken over the business in his hands in May, 2011, who has marked the strategy of extending the overall production of cake and biscuit manufacturing factories instead of maintaining the focus on the possessions hold increase, with the help of working strength of 1200 numbers of employees.
