The past year was a good year for TomTom investors

TomTom' balance mostly financed with equity

At the end of 2015 the navigation producer's balance sheet was worth 1,68 billion euros. Of the total balance sheet 710,76 million euros (42,32 percent) was financed by debt. Last year the navigation producer's price/earnings-ratio (PE) was around 46. So the investors valued the stock at 46 times 2015' earnings per share. Many analysts say that based on her price/earnings-ratio and dividend yield the Dutch stock can be seen as a growth stock.

At the end of 2015 the market capitalization (the number of shares outstanding multiplied by the stock price) of the navigation producer equaled around 2,65 billion euros. At the end of 2015 around 227,77 million stocks were listed.
