Hewlett-Packard Company widely known as Hewlett Packard is an American multinational information technology corporation was founded by William R. Hewlett and David Packard in a one-car garage in the year 1939 and is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, United States having more than 331,800 employees. On September 2, 2010 Hewlett Packard won its bidding war for 3PAR with a $33 a share offer ($2.07 billion), resulting in Dell to step aside. In year 2012 Hewlett Packard generated revenue of US$ 120.357 billion.
