Aedifica’s investment strategy focuses on three promising sectors:residential buildings, non-furnished apartments, in city centre locations in Belgium; furnished apartments in Brussels; senior housing. Aedifica SA is a Public real estate investment company having complied under Belgian law (“REIT”). Aedifica is having an investment portfolio of just about 600 Million Euro and an entire surface area of roughly 300,000 m², The company aspires to place itself as the market leader along with several listed Belgian housing real estate companies. Aedifica’s furnished apartment buildings adds its charm due to the presence of the European Institutions, NATO, and the HQ of many global businesses in Brussels and to the particular housing requirements of the expatriate community and last but not the least Hotels and other properties, Aedifica invests in the hotel sector mainly in the form of long leases with a minimum duration with expert and particular operators. Aedifica have possession of 2 large hotels situated in two of the biggest tourist cities in Flanders, as well as 4 hotels in Limburg.
Aedifica is listed on NYSE Euronext Brussels since October 2006, as a Belgian real estate investment company, the company put forward the investor an option to make a direct investment in residential real estate. As far as History of the company is considered the company came into existence on 7 November 2005 which was referred in the beginning as Enigma Immo SA, during the next month it got an approval as a SICAFI by the FSMA.
