Sipef (Societe Internationale de Plantations et de Finance) is a leading Belgium based agro industrial conglomerate operating in the sector of plantations. The foundation of the company has been laid down back in the year of 1919 with one of the main aim of providing the developmental and management facilities to agro industrial firms that are in need of plantation in the tropical and sub-tropical regions. Two agencies, first one in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and the second one in Medan (Indonesia) are present at the initial stage of the development of the company.
