Quest for Growth is a Belgium based Privak structured company focusing on investment in Europe’s growth firms and private possessions for the conversion of revenue generation to tax free income source. There are varied sectors including IT, software, semi-conductors, telecommunications, materialization, electronics and many other specialized growing ones that are being focused upon. The company works is based on the Privak structuring, an investing vehicle developed by ‘Royal Decree’, for the capitalization and its conversion.
The primary target of the company includes small and medium sized equity firms and follows both the listed and un-listed European companies. The foundation of the company has been laid down in the year of 1998 and it has been headquartered in Leuven, Belgium with currently handled by one of the key personalities named as Jos B. Peeters, Chairman of the company. Profitability of the company in the year of 2012 can be stated by the figure of 15,701,811 EUR with the overall number of shares to be 11,529,950.
The company has been listed on the Euronext Brussels stock exchange on 23 September, 1998 and since then the shares have been traded on this market. And the investment of the company is made in a variety of the firms that have been listed in different Europe’s stock exchanges including London Stock Exchange, Deutsche and Euronext. Other than the quoted organizations, the investment is also made in non-listed companies also (15 % asset investment according to the scheme and compatibility with the company policies can be invested) but having a trading period of 36 months, rarely investing in the newly started companies. More than 100 $ million funding has been generated by the company with the amount of investing to be 1 million € from bridge finance, growth capital, start ups, shareholding loans, expansions and other minor equities.
The industrial sectors starting from telecommunication hardware, telecom’s carriers, space, nano-technology, medication, IT, environmental areas, electronics, computing products, energy, semiconductors, bio-technology upto computer hardware and software industries are preferred for the investment. The investing is also carried out in the risky areas of business enterprise funds, unlisted technical companies by following the bottom up methodology by analyzing up to the basic level. Governance of the company is done with the help of laid down rules by the corporation laws by Privak legislation (related to Ethical Codes), all of which have been applied to the Privak Directors, depositing banks, and the advising authorities.
For the consideration for the privacy structuring, a meeting of the specialized norms has to be followed by the companies in which Quest is going to invest the funds. And finally, after all the things done right, the goal of conversion of the revenue generation into tax free income with the help of Privak is being carried out.
